AN ANGEL
When God created the angels, He had my wife in mind,
One who is so beautiful and sweet, one so loving and kind.
Why I was trusted with this precious gift, I can not begin to know,
I’ll treat her like the angel she is; and make sure my love does show.
Our years together haven’t been enough, I pray the Lord does know,
Please give us a lot more time together, for my love continues to grow.
Everyday, I thank the Lord, for His gift to me,
My very own angel on Earth and life for eternity.
