I remember the very first time; I really looked at you,
I thought this pretty girl would very nicely do.
I remember the very first time; I tasted the sweetness of your kiss,
There were fireworks in my mind; a beat my heart did miss.
I remember the very first time; I held you close to me,
You fulfilled a youthful wish; of this loneliness I would be free.
I remember the thousands of times you said you loved me so,
You promised to love me forever; you said you would never let me go.
Yes, these things I remember with a longing deep in my heart,
To be able to turn back time, to relive the thrill we had at the very start.
